Just finished watching the interview with Tasmanian miners Todd Russell and Brant Webb. Best part was Todd's revelation that once he was out of the mine: 'Family comes first, roo shootin' comes second'. Gold. Where can I get the t-shirt?
Commendable restraint, JJ. :-) Did you want me to ask the question? Ok. What do you mean, "a sign of breeding"? Who else do you know who appeared on a Nine Network on a program like Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, or whatever, and referred to "The Gambler"?
Of course it is. Just don't let it get in the way of family time, especially not the family dinner! And don't bring your gun to the table. That's what the rack is for. Geez.
Nothing wrong with referencing "The Gambler" on National TV on the Nine Network. It's a sign of breeding, that is.

ReplyDeleteNo, I'm happy to leave an air of mystery about things. Us Kenny-Rogers quoting types are like that.
ReplyDelete(There's also nothing wrong with the occasional high-five between consenting adults; and shooting is a perfectly respectable sport.)
